A Bit About Me
I'm Andy, the Founder of Dietz Driveline, a baseball-specific strength and arm care program designed to build a solid foundation in proper throwing techniques.
Let’s breakdown why I've got the experience and knowledge to be the perfect baseball trainer for you and your player. I played college baseball for a solid 4 years, so I know the game inside and out. In addition, I had the privilege of learning from Chris Hook, who was my pitching instructor back in the day. And guess what? He's now the pitching coach for the Milwaukee Brewers! I've also been giving pitching lessons at HITS for 9 years and I'm certified in Driveline training and I've been rocking the Driveline program for 3 years now.
With all that being said, know you can trust that I've got the skills and the know-how to take your game to the next level.
My Background In Baseball
Played Baseball | 1994 - 2009

Dietz Driveline | 2020 - Present
Baseball has been a significant part of my life, spanning from childhood to adulthood. I started playing when I was young and continued throughout my college years. During my journey, I had the opportunity to train with Chris Hook, who currently serves as the pitching coach for the Milwaukee Brewers. Sadly, my career came to an abrupt end in 2009 due to an injury that necessitated Tommy John Surgery. It was during this challenging time that I discovered my passion for baseball training and injury prevention for younger players.
After my surgery recovery, I realized I couldn't give up on baseball. If I couldn't play, I could still mentor and train the new generation of baseball players. In 2014, I launched my training services at Hits Indoor Baseball, where I have been based for the past decade, assisting players of all ages in enhancing their pitching abilities through personalized one-on-one sessions.
After providing individual pitching lessons for six years, I realized the importance of shifting focus towards injury prevention and exploring ways to train multiple young players simultaneously while ensuring progress and success. Discovering the driveline baseball training method, which emphasizes data analysis for enhancement, inspired me. After becoming certified, I established Dietz Driveline to offer my personalized approach to driveline baseball, integrating data-driven practices with a strong emphasis on strength and conditioning to enhance pitching abilities and reduce the risk of injuries.
